One dead & 10 injured after car 'deliberately' ploughs into crowd in France

One person was killed and 10 were injured after a car drove into pedestrians in Caen, France.
Seven of the injured are in critical condition.
The victims are believed to be men aged between 17 and 40.
The driver, a 26-year-old Russian-born man, was arrested about 20km away.
The suspect was not known to intelligence services and had previous traffic offenses.
Officials are not currently treating the incident as terrorism, but the investigation is ongoing.
An investigation into murder and aggravated assault has been opened.
A similar incident occurred in Évreux in August last year where a car hit a crowd outside a wine bar, killing one and injuring five.
