Free Witcher 3 Remastered announced, all major upgrades and content confirmed
We knew that we would be getting our first look at the new Witcher 3 expansion at Gamescom Opening Night Live, but we weren’t quite expecting to get a full on remaster of the original game at the same time. CD Projekt RED took to the stage last night to surprise gamers with a full-on remaster of the original game – and best of all, it’s completely free of charge to those who already own it.

- The remaster includes graphical upgrades such as upgraded textures, foliage shading rework, HDR improvements, and Ray Tracing enhancements.

- A new expansion, 'Songs of the Past,' is set to launch in 2027 and will also feature graphical upgrades and quality of life improvements.
