Met Office names 93 areas facing heavy rain over August Bank Holiday weekend

Met Office maps show which areas of the UK are expected to receive rainfall this bank holiday weekend. This coming weekend will look different to most we've experienced over the summer, as most areas of the UK are expected to receive at least some rainfall. It comes after weeks of no rain and hot weather, which sparked droughts across the country. However, the tides are turning with rain across several regions this week, with a thunderstorm warning also in place for some spots.
